So, I decided to make a blog. I have no idea how to do these stuff, but, I'll learn, right? :D As you can see (or can't since noone really knows of this blog yet :P) I've posted a few reviews already. I'll review books-mostly. Maybe a few movies and things like that. Maybe I'll even write what I do in my spare time-who knows? Anyway, let's get started!!! :D

Vampire Academy (Vampire Academy, #1)Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

There are absolutely no words to describe how much I love this serial. I've read it so many times that I couldn't count it on fingers of my both hands.
The first book is not so good as the other ones in the serial, but I just had to give it five stars. I guess I am an obsessed fan girl after all :D.
And, I am writing this review because... THERE IS GONNA BE A MOVIE SOON!! YEEEY!

So, why am I so in love with these books? I can't really put a finger on the reason so easily.
Maybe the answer would be-characters. I loved them all so much. Rose, Lissa, Dimitri (mmm, yummy), Adrian (another yummy!), Christian... All of them!
And, here is the thing. Everyone, everyone in this book is well described. Physically and mentally. Everyone in this serial has a character. Everyone. Even people that are just passing by.
And, if you ask me why do I care about characters so much, the answer is simple-they build the story.
The other thing is the surrounding. Again brilliant description of everything. It's like I've been there. I can picture it in my mind like it's real. Scary, isn't it?
Plot isn't too complicated, books are easy to read.
Action, romance, friendship, vampires (mmm...). There is everything you could possibly want in it.
Some scenes in this book make me laugh every time I read them. Brilliant.

Ok, this is where I am going to stop because reviewing these books makes me wanna read them again. And, guess what? Maybe I'm gonna do that right away!

Enclave (Razorland, #1)Enclave by Ann Aguirre
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

What a great book! Finally, I came across a story that was really worth my time. Brilliant!
I love the way this book is written-fast paced, full of action, great characters, fantastic world-building.
I loved that not everything in this book happened at one place. It's like the story has phases based on the settlement.
It's not a fairytale and not everyone gets to survive. There is also a hint of romance, but it's not the main topic-far from that. It is realistic, not forced like in so many books of YA fiction.
There is no higher purpose in the story. No. It just unfolds-elegantly, just in the right way.
Danger-it also seems real. People are constantly fighting for their lives and we can almost sense their fear. Their effort to provide food, their unawareness of the world above the tunnels. Wilderness of the unknown land yet to be discovered. Taking desperate measures when needed. Depending on each other. Unexpected friendships. Bravery. Everything is packed in this single book so neatly, leaving me completely breathless, wanting for more.
Well done, Ann Aguirre! I will definitely be reading the next installment.

Pure (Covenant, #2)Pure by Jennifer L. Armentrout
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

I can't say that I DIDN'T like this book. I just can't. That's because I've read it in one night and it made me laugh-a lot.
But, I had a few HUGE problems with it.
Firstly-it's waaaay too similar to the Vampire Academy.
Secondly-I don't like Aidan-at all.
Thirdly-I hate Aidan. Or, have I already mentioned that?

And the love triangle... it was frustrating. And painfull. And I hated it. I wanted to scream: Choose Seth! Choose Seth! Seth!!! for sooo many times.
But, noooo. Seth just isn't good enough for Alex because she wants something she just can't have. Aaaaaarrrrrggghh!!

Beautiful Creatures (Caster Chronicles, #1)Beautiful Creatures by Kami Garcia
My rating: 1 of 5 stars

I just had to write this review because I have no idea why so many people are fascinated with this book. There is even a movie now!
There is absolutely nothing about this book that I liked. Nothing. I couldn't even understand some parts of it.
So, if you are not from the south of America, I wouldn't recommend it to you. Like-at all.
All those customs that we read about, all those people, history... Everything is so...local. I don't know, maybe people from that part of the world would find this book interesting.
I've been waiting and waiting, reading and reading, but, hey! Nothing interesting happens. A strange girl moves to town. Boy likes her. He doesn't know what she is, but he'd like to find out. No one wants to be her friend. He does.
And, how many times does Lena say words-'you wouldn't understand'? Too many!
Every detail is explained, every breakfast, lunch and dinner. I wanted to pull my hair out so many times!
I've even read the second book hoping that I'll see something that I couldn't while reading first and, what did I discover? Even more boring book! I ended up hating Lena, Ethan, Link, that girl whose name also starts on L (am I wrong?), Amma and everyone even more.
I won't be reading Beautiful Chaos anytime soon, thank you. There are better books to consider.

EasyEasy by Tammara Webber
My rating: 1 of 5 stars

Okay, lets start. I don't like this book. Boring, boring, boring.
Maybe I'm not the right person to write this review because I don't usually read this kind of books. But, you know what? If the book is good, it should be good to anyone, not just to the readers of the particular genre.
Firstly, I could predict everything that happened in it and that's one of the things I hate while reading books.
Secondly, characterisation is not good enough to interest someone like me.
I know that, having read many, many books, I sure am a demanding reader. But, I can't just pass by and say nothing when this book has SO MANY 5 STAR REVIEWS!!!

Angelfall (Penryn & the End of Days, #1)Angelfall by Susan Ee
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I can't tell you how happy I am because I read this book. Why? Because it is a self-published novel and it's as good as many books released by well known publishers. I can even say that it is far better than some books I've read.
The beginning was a bit slow, but I'm ok with that. Second part of the book was much better, fast paced, full of action.
Although I really liked the book in general and all the characters in it, I didn't like that many questions are left unanswered. There is always the second book for that, I know, but, how can I possibly wait that long?
Well, that's the reason I gave it four instead of five stars. I hope that the next book will be as good, or even better, with more complex plot than this one has!
